This Privacy Policy explains what information PW Live (pwlive.net) collects when you visit the site, how we use it and the choices you have. The site is operated by the PW Live editorial team. By using pwlive.net you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect very little personal information. Most of what we collect is either provided by you directly or gathered automatically for analytics.
Information you provide
- Contact emails. When you email hassan@zavify.co.uk, we receive your email address, your name if you include it and the content of your message.
- Comments. If commenting is enabled on an article, we collect the name, email address and comment text you submit, along with your IP address and browser details for spam prevention.
- Guest post submissions. If you pitch or submit an article, we receive whatever information you include, such as your name, bio and links.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics data. We may use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, time on page, approximate location (country or city level), device type, browser and referring website. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider may record standard technical data such as IP addresses, timestamps and requested URLs for security and performance monitoring.
- Cookies. Small files stored in your browser. See the cookies section below and our separate Cookie Policy.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your emails, questions and correction requests.
- Publish and moderate comments, and filter spam.
- Understand which content is useful so we can improve the site.
- Keep the site secure and diagnose technical problems.
- Comply with legal obligations where they apply.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.
Cookies and analytics
PW Live may use Google Analytics or a similar analytics service. These services set cookies to distinguish visitors and to measure traffic. The information they generate is transmitted to and stored by the analytics provider under its own privacy policy.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the browser add-on that Google provides, or by blocking analytics cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from reading the site.

Advertising
At present PW Live does not display advertising. We may introduce advertising in the future to support the cost of running the site.
If we do, third-party advertising vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. These vendors may use their own tracking technologies to measure ad performance and personalise ads. You will be able to opt out of personalised advertising through the vendor’s ad settings or through industry opt-out pages. We will update this policy before advertising goes live.
Third-party links
Our articles link to external websites, including official exam boards, government portals, educational platforms and tools we mention. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. When you leave pwlive.net, the other site’s privacy policy applies.
Data retention
- Contact emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference, then deleted.
- Comments remain published with their associated data until you ask us to remove them or we decide to close comments.
- Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics provider, typically in aggregated form.
- Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data protection laws such as the GDPR in Europe or India’s data protection legislation. Regardless of location, we offer everyone the following:
- Access. Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Correction. Ask us to fix inaccurate information.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete your comments, emails or other personal data.
- Opt-out. Refuse analytics or advertising cookies through your browser or opt-out tools.
- Objection. Object to any use of your data you consider unreasonable.
To exercise any of these rights, email hassan@zavify.co.uk with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We aim to respond within a reasonable time.
Children’s privacy
PW Live is a general-audience website. Many of our readers are students, and some of our content is relevant to school-age learners. However, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the site and the limited data we hold, including HTTPS encryption and access controls. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the site, the law or the tools we use. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be announced on the site. Continued use of pwlive.net after an update means you accept the revised policy.

PW Live (pwlive.net) is an independent website and is not affiliated with Physics Wallah. This policy applies only to pwlive.net. It does not apply to the official Physics Wallah website, app or PW Live platform, which have their own privacy policies.
